This guide teaches you how to power off, reboot or restart the Bitmain Antminer S17 Series miners.
And also this method applies to all ANTMINERs.
To Power Off/shut Down a Miner:
Since the mining machine is powered directly by the power supply and lacks a switch, it can be turned off by either unplugging the power supply’s 220V input line or turning off the vac directly.
You should try to turn on or off the APW12 power supply’s two power lines simultaneously. If you are unable to do so, you should plug in the outer power line first before plugging in the inner power supply to start the machine. When the machine is turned off, turn off the power lines against the inside first, and then the outside.
To Restart/reboot a Miner:
There are two ways to restart the miner;
First is to power off the miner and then power on again.
Second is to backend restart
- Antminer Series 17:click “Reboot” in the miner user interface as below.
Miner backstage > System > Reboot
- New firmware versions such as Antminer 19 series：in the bottom right corner of the background screen, click on “Restore factory settings”.
