Suitable for series S15 and S17 miner machines that cannot be cleaned with batch tools.
III. Preparation
1. Program the SD card of the new firmware
2. Serial port cable (connect tx with tx; connect rx with rx; connect gnd with gnd)
3. Decompress the “SD card recovery image.rar”, format the SD card FAT32 and copy it in (the same steps as preparing SD card recovery file).
4. For S17, S17PRO, and T17, download the SD card recovery file (using T17).
IV. Operation Steps
1. Open the serial port interactive software on the computer after inserting the SD card and connecting the serial port cable.
2. Power on and start.
3. Observe serial port log. In event of countdown of “Hit any key to stop autoboot: *”, press to initiate the procedure.
4. Input command:
*Press Enter
5. As the SD card recovery process is running, the control panel indicator will alternately flash while you wait for it to finish.
6. Unplug the SD card after it is finished, then turn the power back on.
7. After turning the device on, update the firmware to the most recent version on the official website and do not keep the configuration upgrade firmware.
8. The login password default should be changed.
